Michael Hemmesch

Michael Hemmesch is director of media relations at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minn. Hemmesch serves as media spokesperson and oversees all media relations activities for the university. He has worked in the communication and marketing services office at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University since 1997. He has particular interest and expertise in crisis communications, media interview training, athletic media relations, writing style guides and new media strategies. Hemmesch received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint John’s University in 1997, and was the youngest recipient of the Saint John’s Administrator of the Year award in 2004.
