Gayle Golden

Gayle Golden is an award-winning newspaper and magazine writer who has been a regular national desk contributor for The New York Times, as well as a freelance magazine writer for publications such as Texas Monthly, Good Housekeeping, Cooking Light, and Minn.St.Paul Magazine. She has worked as a staff writer on the national desk for the Dallas Morning News, where she won a AAAS Westinghouse Science Writing Award as well as an ABA Silver Gavel Award for an in-depth series on science and the courts. She has been a freelancer and a copy editor for The Los Angeles Times and a parenting columnist for Dallas Family Magazine. Currently, she is currently a freelance writer living in the Twin Cities and most recently won a silver award for best magazine feature of 2007 from the Minnesota Magazine Publishers Association.
